Rendevu (“Rendevu,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a mobile app and related website features that help users discover and evaluate venues. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your email address, age or age range, account details, support requests, and any preferences or filters you choose in the app.

We also collect location information when you allow it, including approximate or device-based location, so we can show relevant nearby venues and map-based results.

We automatically collect certain device and usage information, such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, identifiers associated with your device or app instance, screens viewed, feature usage, session activity, crash data, and diagnostic information.

We may also collect analytics and attribution data through third-party tools, including the Meta SDK, to understand app installs, sessions, in-app activity, and the effectiveness of our advertising.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate, maintain, and improve Rendevu; create and manage accounts; provide venue recommendations and location-based functionality; troubleshoot bugs and performance issues; respond to support requests; communicate service updates; measure marketing performance; and protect the security and integrity of the app.

3. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers and contractors that help us run Rendevu, such as hosting, infrastructure, analytics, attribution, communications, and support vendors.

We may share limited device, usage, and attribution information with advertising and measurement partners, including Meta, to measure installs, app activity, and campaign effectiveness.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate fraud or abuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.

We do not sell personal information for money.

4. Location, Analytics, and Advertising

Rendevu uses location data to support core app functionality. You can control location permissions in your device settings.

We may use analytics and attribution technologies, including the Meta SDK and similar tools, to understand how users find and use the app. These tools may collect device identifiers, app events, and usage data for analytics, attribution, and advertising measurement.

5. Your Choices

You can limit or disable location access through your device settings. You can also stop all information collection by uninstalling the app.

If you want us to delete your account or personal information, email hello@rendevuapp.com from the email address associated with your account and use the subject line Delete My Data.

Please include any details that will help us locate your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing your request. We may retain certain information where required or permitted by law.

8. Children’s Privacy

Rendevu is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at hello@rendevuapp.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
